Application Form Holiday Junior Tennis Camps

Details of our 4 day Summer Camps are as follows:

Venue: Manor Park Club, Albert Road North Malvern WR14 2TL

Facilities: Up to 4 Acrylic outdoor tennis courts with use of the Indoor Courts should the weather be poor

Times: 9.30 - 11.00 Blue and Red Mini Players aged 4 - 7/8 years

9.30 - 12.30 Orange, Green & Yellow Ball Players aged between 8 - 16 years.

Dates: 20 July to 23 July

27 July to 30 July

17 August to 20 August

Venue: Ledbury Tennis Club, Gloucester Road, Ledbury HR8 2JE

All standards are welcome and catered for by our team of LTA Accredited+ and Accredited coaches to ensure that there is always a fun learning environment.

Early Bird Price if place booked 2 weeks in advance of the start date of each course

4 – 7 yrs. 4 day Camp £60.00 Day £16.00 (after Early Bird Offer Daily Fee £18; Full course £68)

8 – 16 yrs 4 day Camp £120.00 Day £32 (after Early Bird Offer Daily Fee £34; Full course £128)

10% discount for members of their respective clubs, i.e. Manor Park or Ledbury Tennis Club

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL CAMPS

AIMS: The camps are held to help players keep up and improve their tennis in an enjoyable environment, which includes both technical and tactical coaching and competitions. Full course attendance is recommended although if this is impossible applications will be accepted for a shorter number of sessions. Cancellation of a place can only be made in exceptional circumstances

COACHES: We are fortunate in having a team of excellent, keen, enthusiastic, and competent qualified LTA Accredited+/Accredited Coaches and LTA Tennis Assistants all holding a current DBS Enhanced Disclosure certificate and who will ensure that pupils get the maximum benefit and enjoyment from the camps whatever their age or experience

FACILITIES: At Manor Park Club: 4 excellent acrylic tennis courts and access to indoor acrylic if the weather is poor. Café and Wi-Fi available for those who may wish to remain at the club whilst their children play. At Ledbury there are 3 excellent astroturf tennis courts and a clubhouse with a small veranda viewing area.

WET WEATHER: The Camps will take place whatever the weather unless particularly extreme.

CLOTHES: Recognised tennis clothing, where possible, should be worn. Non marking soled shoes are required on the acrylic courts

EQUIPMENT: We do supply HEAD sports equipment and are pleased to advise pupils when selecting a new racket. Course members receive a discount. Rackets are not provided except for MINI TENNIS RACKETS

CANCELLATIONS: A refund of fees will only be given in exceptional circumstances, such as illness or injury, and at the discretion of Malvern Tennis Academy.

GUIDANCE FOR ONLINE BOOKING FOR THE FIRST TIME:

1.Click on the booking link 2. Scroll down to find the session you want 3. Click on Continue booking

4. Click on ‘click here’ to create an account 5. Click on the ‘LTA’ and then click on ‘sign up for free’

6. Create a username and password as the parent 7. Click on ‘I’m not a robot’ 8 Click ‘join now’

You will then receive an email to verify your account so then verify the email address in the email and this will then take you to the LTA Login site.

7. Then return to the original link and sign in using the login details you have just created and then book your child in whatever day and session you choose – just follow the steps

8. When you get to pay just click twice and the prompt will come up to put in payment details. Click Member (if your child is a junior member of either club)

It is tedious the first time you do it but once you are registered it will always be very straightforward. It is the LTA system not ours!
